Who Looks for Religion on the Web?
.
One in four American adults have searched on the Internet for information about religion. Almost all of them are already very religions people; 84% of those who access religion sites on the Web belong to a congregation as compared to less than two-thirds of the general public. The largest number are looking for resources for their devotional lives. A third of these religion consumers on the Web used e-mail to give advice or offer an opinion on a spiritual topic. One in five has sought advice from other believers via e-mail.
