Personal Pastor
Here’s a creative ministry idea. Norman Yergen has been a pastor, teacher, hospice chaplain and church administrator. Now working in another capacity, he spends his evenings and weekends as a personal pastor. If a person’s pastor is not taking appointments anytime soon or s/he hasn’t been in church for years and has no relationship with a pastor, Norman is available on a fee-for-service basis. Call and he’ll provide chaplaincy services, or spiritual intervention, or perform a wedding, funeral or baby dedication.

Some have asked him why he charges for his services and he says, “Show me a church that doesn’t take up offerings. What I offer has no overhead costs to cover. You pay for what you get.” What a person does find is profound respect for his or her sacred journey right when s/he needs help most. Click here for more details: getapastor.
