Christianity Increases In the Netherlands
According to early January editions of the Weekly Standard, nearly one hundred years of secularization in the Netherlands is reversing slowly. Among the trends:
Christian immigrants are outnumbering Muslim immigrants two to one.
A best-selling book features a Christian theme.
Prayer gatherings are being allowed by some companies.
Despite the trends, studies indicate that there is decline in liberal Protestant groups and that the high number of aged Roman Catholics will offset increase of membership for some time to come.
