Implementing Spiritual Gifts
.

In Bermuda two weeks ago, I watched as congregations recognized members who had just completed their Connections Discover Sessions. I listened as the Conference Secretary recommended to all church leaders that they seriously consider how to incorporate each one of these members in meaningful ministry roles in the coming year. The excitement in the room was palpable, as it should be. When a person is baptized, he or she is given spiritual gifts to benefit the church. They lie dormant until they are brought forward through review of Scripture and inventories found in Connections: The Right People in the Right Places for the Right Reasons. Then as members get involved, it is the Spirit's motivation that gets them going and keeps them involved in ministry. It's the way our Creator wired us! Are you using this ministry tool to its full extent at your church? If not, check it out and then let us coach you through the process if you ever get stuck.
