Re-Church Gathering Follows Innovation Conference
I am looking forward to the Re-Church gathering that will follow the National Conference on Innovation (October 1-3). Re-Church begins at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3, and concludes at noon on Wednesday, October 4. The Re-Church event is for pastors and leaders of faith-based ministries. The focus will be how to provide leadership for change that really makes a difference in the church. I hope you’ll be there to engage in the discussion—it’s sure to be thought-provoking!

The keynote speaker will be Alan Roxburgh, well-known author of the new book, The Missional Leader:  Equipping Your Church to Reach a Changing World. With 30 years experience as a pastor, urban ministry director and seminar professor, Roxburgh now works with the Allelon Missional Leadership Network in the formation of leaders for the missional church. He has also written Reaching a New Generation, Leadership, Limitnality and the Missionary Congregation and Leadership in a Time of Change.

Pastor Ryan Bell of the Hollywood Seventh-day Adventist Church and national coordinator of the Re-Church Network will share a vision for supportive networking among pastors and ministry leaders working for change. Monte Sahlin will present a summary of new research from the FACT 2005 survey.

The registration is $95 ...but it is discounted to $25 if you also attend the National Conference on Innovation, or if you are a member of the Creative Ministries pastoral advisory group or the Re-Church Network. To register, dial (800) 272-4664.

For reservations, contact the hotel directly no later than September 15, 2006, and mention the Kettering Medical Center Network’s Conference on Innovation. (If you have already made reservations, don’t forget to phone to add one more night for the Re-Church event.)
