Re-vangelism = Reassuring Evangelism
Unfortunately, fear sells well. Just listen to the news and you'll notice it. Catastrophic, frightening, overwhelming, alarming, dangerous, are often-used words. If you listen carefully you can hear similar sentiment in some event evangelism. We figure if we can 'put the fear of God' into a people, they will be motivated to convert to Christianity and the Adventist brand. I've got to believe that Jesus was right when he said 'Perfect love casts out all fear.' If God is love, then why do we need to use fear to motivate anyone? At the Re-vangelism gathering we're going to talk about the winsome ways of Jesus in reaching the lost and the inactive member and how to these concepts are being exampled in congregations today with amazing results. And we want to hear from you. What reassuring evangelism are you doing?
