Protestant Teens are Focus of Major Report
.
The National Study of Youth and Religion (NSYR) has published a new report on Protestant adolescents in the United States based on the NSYR survey data. Titled "Portraits of Protestant Teens: A Report on Teenagers in Major U.S. Denominations," the report is a companion to Dr. Christian Smith's recent book, "Soul Searching: The Religious and Spiritual Lives of American Teenagers," featured in a recent issue of INNOVATIONewsletter. This report is more concise and graphic than Soul Searching and includes breakouts for specific Protestant denominations (but not Adventists). It can be downloaded free as a PDF file from the NSYR Web site: http://www.youthandreligion.org.
