Welcome Home Sabbath November 22
.
So many inactive members start thinking about church at the holiday. That’s why the Seventh-day Adventist Church in North America designates the Sabbath before Thanksgiving (in the United States) as a day to invite friends and family to come back to church.

Why not start now to prepare a special day of programming and fellowship on November 22. Start making contacts now with those you have not seen in church for a while to build rapport and find a natural moment to make the invitation to an event whenever you plan it.

If your fellow church members wonder what to say in those visits I urge you to get the booklet One-Minute Witness. You might think this resource is about how to reach the general public or unchurched. Actually its content would work for both quite nicely. If you order the booklets in bulk, the price is very reasonable and would be a great gift for every member of your congregation.
